Georgie is a morkie — a Maltese-Yorkie mix — and one of the most charming little dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s fluffy, opinionated, and somehow convinced he has a medical degree. This is his story.

The Incident That Started It All

It started with a dew claw. Georgie caught his nail on something and broke it — the kind of injury that makes most dogs whimper and retreat to their crate. Not Georgie.

Before anyone could even book the vet appointment, Georgie had already assessed the situation and handled it himself. He carefully chewed off the damaged nail, cleaned the area, and looked up as if to say: “Yeah, I got this.”

When he finally did see the vet, the veterinarian looked at the wound, looked at Georgie, and said with a laugh: “Looks like Dr. Georgie took care of things before you got here.”

And just like that, a brand was born.

What Is a Morkie, Exactly?
